About Us

Darren & Mari have been residents of San Luis Obispo County for many years. Mari's family moved to Los Osos in the early 70's while Darren moved to the area in the early 80's. They raised both of their Sons in Los Osos. Over the years they have been involved with many community activities including Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts Little League just to name a few. Mari facilitated parenting classes for San Luis Obispo Student Services. They have always supported the activities & groups in their community to the best of their ability.

Mari & Darren have been long time fans of Subway Sandwiches. In 2003 they had an opportunity to purchase a Subway Restaurant in San Luis Obispo. They both kept their jobs while working in the restaurant improving customer service as well as the customers experience. Within 10 months they were both working at Subway full time. Having two boys, they quickly remembered the value of health insurance and Mari rejoined the work force with a job at Farm Supply Company. They since have added Los Osos Subway to their family of restaurants. Darren & Mari are very proud of their restaurants as well as the team members at each location. The customer is the number one priority at Darren & Mari's restaurants. Ensuring they get fast, friendly, and fun service along with the freshest food possible in the cleanest restaurants around have contributed to the awards bestowed upon their group.

Darren & Mari's Laguna Village Subway is located in the Laguna Village Shopping Center on the corner of Madonna Rd. & Los Osos Valley Rd. 1/2 mile west of Costco in San Luis Obispo. Their Los Osos Subway is in the Los Osos Village Square (the Post Office building) across the street from Starbucks in Los Osos.
